The Live Arts Program of Panama Jazz Festival (PJF) offers artists an unique opportunity to create works of art in a live performance environment, experiencing visual art and music as well as the improvisation of both art forms, simultaneously. We seek to bridge different art forms and to uncover how working in multidisciplinary ways enhances and/or changes the creative process.
It is the ultimate goal of the program to: explore one’s art form; to explore other art forms; and thus discover, develop and deepen one’s own creative process, and inspire the creation of works from a freer, newer place of understanding.
